So Black Hair Isn't Worth Anything???

I watched Chris Rock on Tyra today and she showed a clip from his new documentary "Good Hair." He was trying to sell Black Hair to Asian Beauty Supply Store owners. They didn't want it and when asked by Chris if it was worth anything, they basically said "no..."

It was funny and brought back memories of my first salon. An old white man came in one day and asked if he could buy the hair that I'd cut from my client's head on a weekly basis. I can remember asking him what he wanted it for? And he said he wanted it for his garden because it would keep the rabbits from eating his vegetables...

Well... I don't have to tell you what I told him he could do with his money as I unceremoniously escorted him to the door!!!

So much for Black Hair not being worth anything...
